By purchasing from High Desert Cartridge Company, you affirm that:

You have never been adjudicated as mentally defective or been committed to a mental institution. Have never been a fugitive from justice, or an unlawful user of any controlled substance. Have never been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces. Have never renounced US citizenship. Have never been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. Are not currently subject to a court order that restrains you from harassing, stalking, or threatening a partner or child. Are aware that our products are intended for adult use only.

You are a U.S. citizen, 21 years of age or older, and have never been convicted of a felony or crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.

You are aware it is our company policy that all sales are final. Manufacturing defects are returnable. Details below.


Shipping will be determined by order weight, per UPS Ground Shipping or FedEx Ground Shipping. Expedited shipping fees will be greater. Shipping costs to Hawaii or Alaska may be higher than standard shipping fees. All shipping costs will be added to the total order.

Shipping on orders over $1500 is free. Orders typically ship in 3 to 7 days.

Due to state specific restrictions, High Desert Cartridge Company cannot ship ammunition to Massachusetts or Washington DC. Shipments will not be sent to Illinois, unless you present a current FFL or FOID. There is no shipping to NYC, Bronx, Nassau, New York, Queens, or Richmond.

If it is illegal to ship ammunition to your area, your order will not be processed. Pending transactions will be canceled and refunded.

What are UPS rules on shipping ammo?

UPS requires ground service for all ammunition shipments because it is considered “hazardous materials”.

UPS requires that ammunition be shipped through an official UPS Customer Center, or via pickup scheduled through a UPS Scheduled Pickup Account. Ammunition may never be shipped via UPS Drop Boxes, The UPS Store locations, or any other third parties. UPS will only ship ammo that does not exceed 12.7 mm (50 caliber or 0.5 inch) for rifle or pistol cartridges, or 8 gauge for shotgun shells.

What are FedEx rules on shipping ammo?

FedEx requires ground service for all ammunition shipments. This is because ammunition is considered “hazardous materials” unsuitable for air shipping.

FedEx requires that ammunition be shipped from dedicated FedEx stores. Ammunition “may never be shipped from a FedEx Office or other FedEx associated retail location.”

Ammunition shipments are limited to “small arms” calibers, which federal law defines as calibers not larger than 19.1 mm. Shotgun cartridges of any caliber are included in this description.

You are aware it is our company policy that all sales are final. Manufacturing defects are returnable within 30 days.

If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not receive a refund or exchange. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. You will be responsible for shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We require the defected item be returned for our inspection. Please communicate by email prior to returning item:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If your refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Refunds are processed and posted according to bank policy. If you have not received a refund after one week, first check with your bank.
